The second All Weather Pitch was officially opened on 9 March 2008 by Richard Dodds, Captain of Great Britain's gold medal winning team at the Seoul Olympics in 1988.

The new 'wet dressed' artificial pitch has been a much appreciated addition to the hockey facilities at Bradfield.
