golf course

The much admired nine hole Golf Course was opened on 17 May 1998 and the day included a ceremonious 'teeing off' by Bernard Gallacher, a former victorious Ryder Cup Captain and Bradfield parent.

The benefits of this superb facility have been evidenced by the three recent successes of the College team in the Gerald Micklem Trophy and it twice being runner up to Millfield in the National HMC Foursomes. The course is also enjoyed by the 350 or so members of the Bradfield College Golf Club which is open to Old Bradfieldians and current or past parents, as well as members of the public. To mark its 10th anniversary, several desirable enchancements were added, including a new putting green and practice area. A tree planting programme will be undertaken in 2009.
