The Sports Complex was officially opened On 11 November 1994 by Lord Owen MP. This impressive facility was the first major project to be completed with the aid of substantial funding from the Foundation and, as such, it stands as a symbol of the generosity of the Foundation's supporters as well as being a tribute to the forward-thinking of the College.

The facility provides many features that, until 1994, were unavailable within Bradfield, most obviously the 25 metre indoor pool. A multi-purpose court provides facilities for sports such as squash, netball, basketball and cricket. As well as these areas, a dance studio and a fully equipped gymnasium are  available.
