Bradfield "Bearers"
As part of the Colleges outreach programme, pupils and staff have been working with a local charity, Living Paintings on various book productions and fundraising activities for the partially sighted / blind community. A recent fundraising activity the College helped out at was a prestigious fundraising auction of 20 Steiff Teddy Bears, dressed by various celebrities. The auction was held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The Teddys were “looked after” during the evening by our pupils, who subsequently became known as the Bradfield (Teddy) Bearers! The evening raised a substantial amount of money for Living Paintings, and gave our pupils an opportunity to mingle with the “great and the good” of the theatrical and fashion world.
