The BCPA held its ever-popular quiz night on Friday 4 February which was once again well-attended with 11 teams ready to do battle to become the 2011 champions. Below, Ann Scott, BCPA Committee member and quiz night organiser, gives an account of the evening's events: 

Ex-Radio One DJ and 'Crackerjack' presenter, Ed Stewart, was a very witty and entertaining Quizmaster who kept everyone in control with his banter. Last year’s winning team 'Berkshire Bedlam' made sure they retained their crown, just half a point ahead of second-placed team, 'Pie Eyed'. Meanwhile, the Upper Sixth pupils' team, 'Let’s Get Quizzical' were each presented with Ed Stewart’s autobiography, which he personally signed.

All the profits from this year's event, expected to be around £1,000, will go to Ed Stewart’s chosen charity. Ed is a patron of MGA (Myasthenia Gravis Association) which supports sufferers with severe muscle weakness.
