Day Trip to Bath Christmas Market - Monday 28 November 2011
Bradfield parents and their friends once again enjoyed our popular Christmas shopping trip to Bath. The famous Bath Christmas market, with over 100 traditional wooden chalets decorating the cobbled streets around the Abbey, is a magical place at this time of year and it was impossible not to be caught up in the festive spirit! There was plenty of opportunity to sample the delicious Christmas food and drink available, as well as shop for some more original gifts. A highlight of the day was a most enjoyable group lunch at a local Italian restaurant, a welcome respite before hitting the shops again for the afternoon. We may have to book a bigger coach next year to make room for the shopping bags.
The BCPA runs a varied programme of popular and enjoyable days out. These trips are an excellent way to mix with other parents in a friendly and informal way. Guests are always welcome, so bring a friend and come and join us!

Day Trip to Blenheim Palace - Wednesday 21 September 2011
What a great day we all had!
The outing began with a delicious and relaxed breakfast in Faulkner’s before the short journey to Blenheim by mini-bus.
On arrival at Blenheim, we first visited the highly informative exhibition detailing the history of the palace and the families who lived there. Some of the group then did the guided tour of the first floor rooms, others wandered around the grounds or stopped for coffee. Then everyone met together for a scrumptious lunch in The Water Terrace Cafe leaving us all an hour or so to explore the gardens or browse in the shop before returning to Bradfield.
We were blessed with fine weather, making what was a most enjoyable day for everyone involved, even more memorable.
We have lots of ideas for future trips but please let us know if there is anywhere you would be interested in visiting – we’re always open to suggestions!

BCPA Clay Pigeon Shoot - 7 March 2010
In early March the annual Clay Pigeon Shoot attracted parents, pupils and future pupils alike. The Individual Experienced Competition was won by Stephen Davis with Matthew Kobetic (E) taking honours in the Individual Novice Competition....
